Memphis Golf Initiative
Support the Initiative

Help turn
interest into access.

People, preparation and resources make a first swing possible. Continued support helps children return and discover what comes next.

Businesses, foundations, civic organizations and individual supporters can help build local youth development through golf, life skills, learning and mentoring.

What support makes possible

Invest in the experience.
Invest in continuity.

People & Program Delivery

Instruction, local coordination, operations, preparation and backup coverage.

Equipment & Access

Shared junior clubs, teaching supplies, indoor activities and suitable practice opportunities.

Learning & Mentoring

Life skills curriculum, hands-on STEM and arts activities, mentor engagement and youth reflection.

Practical Participation Support

Help address transportation, food and hydration needs as session arrangements are confirmed.

Neighborhood Delivery

Host coordination, community outreach and the resources to bring activities closer to children.

The Next Step

Help children explore continued instruction, equipment, school golf and appropriate play opportunities.

Building the first year

A serious plan.
A community investment.

$250,000

Proposed first-year fundraising goal, combining gifts, grants and partnerships.

The working business plan includes staffing, equipment, learning experiences and program operations. Funding and confirmed delivery arrangements will determine the initial scope and pace of growth.

Bluff City Founding Partner

A proposed $50,000 lead commitment to help establish the people, resources and delivery foundation for launch.

Program & Resource Partners

Explore support for instruction, learning, equipment, transportation, food, hydration or neighborhood delivery.

Community Gifts & In-Kind Support

Pool financial contributions, useful equipment, professional expertise and suitable space around agreed needs.

Funding opportunities are proposals. Each commitment should define the supported work, time period, recognition and reporting. A contribution toward a category does not automatically fund the entire campaign.

Accountability

Follow the work.
See the progress.

Our campaign aims for 1,000 Kids. 1,000 Swings. 1,000 Days. Reporting will distinguish unique children introduced from repeat visits and ongoing development.

Participation

Children introduced, sessions delivered, return participation and family or host engagement.

Learning & Experience

Coach observations, youth reflections and feedback on golf, life skills and learning activities.

Access & Next Steps

Instruction, equipment and practice opportunities made available, alongside connections to continued participation.

These are planned measures, rather than reported outcomes. Reporting scope and dates will be agreed with partners.
